There are several FFVIII figure sets. 11 Extra Soldier action figures, 8 Guardian
Force action figures, 5 Monsters action figures, six 1/8 Vinyl statues, 4 resin statues, one cold cast scene
and two gashapon sets .
That is quite a lot of stuff to collect!!!
Bandai Extra Soldier
The Extra Soldier action figures are 6'' figures made by bandai. The characters are Squall, Rinoa,
Seifer, Quistis, Irvine, Selphie, Zell. Laguna, Edea, Mumba and Angelo. The last three are only available within two
collector boxes containing respectively: Selphie, Zell, Squall and Edea and Seifer, Laguna, Rinoa, Angelo and Mumba. All the
other characters can be bougth separatly. There is a variant of the first box, where Selphie is replaced by Quistis. To make
it short I placed pictures of the three boxes plus two characters, Irvine and Quistis respectively as Japanese
and US version.
(The only one I have is Mumba)

ArtFx Guardian Force
First of all, there are 8 figures, made by ArtFx, each representing one of the Guardian Forces
in the game, namely: Diablos, Cerberus (+ Angelo in the Japanese version), Siren (+ Cactuar), Shiva (+ MiniMog and Carbuncle),
Ifrit (+ Tombery), Odin (+ his horse), Bahamut and Gilgamesh. Their size can vary but there are all kind of big, up to 16''
broad for Bahamut. Now this is a quite interesting set for two reasons. At first each figure exist in two versions, colored
and clear. The clear version is supposed to be the limited one but you will have a much harder time if you look for colored
figures. Secondly there are important differences between the Japanese and the US release. The first diference is for the
Cerberus figure, in the Japanese version, an extra figure of Angelo has been added. But the biggest difference comes from
the fact that pieces of the Ragnarok have been added to the japanese version and not the US. By collecting all 8 figures you
can build the ship. Of course you get clear pieces with the clear figure and colored ones with the colored figures. And there
is the bug!!! Because some of the Japanes colored figures are extremely hard to find such as Biablos, Bahamut, Shiva and Gilgamesh
(4 out of 8...). Anyway, the Ragnarok is a very cool figure, too bad you have to jump with both foot in such a samefull marcketing
tactic... The pictures I added are a mix of all possible conbination of clear/color and US/JP version. I also added a picture
fµof the colored Ragnarok, cool isn't it?
I am also aware of a Toyfare version of Bahamut, the color is a bit different, but it is the same figure.
(I need japanese colored version of Shiva, Gilgamesh, Diablos)
ArtFx Monster Figure
Five Figures that I know of: Burnhead, Iron Giant, Odin (without the horse), Omega Weapon
and Ultima Weapon. Both Weapons look very much alike, the difference being the color plus the fact the Ultima Weapon
(lower right) has a sword and the Omega one (lower left)... a tail....
(I have none)
Kotobukiya 1/6 Statue
Six Nice Vinyl 1/6 statues of respectively Squall, Seifer, Laguna, Quistis, Rinoa and Selphie.
Each Figure comes with a card and a limited number. Not very hard to get.
(I have none)

Kotobukiya Statues
Four statues that I know of, reprensinting some Characters with one Guardian Force. These are
limited edition and of course they are expensive... Nevertheless they do look nice.
(I have none)

Digicube Cold Cast
A small scene from the Dancing Hall CCG. It is very similar in shape to the FFV, FFVI
and FFVII Cold Cast scenes. Very nice but also expensive (limited edition).
(I need that one)

Gashapon/UFO catcher sets
I know of two UFO catcher sets, two Gashapon Set. In the first UFO set
there are five characters Seifer, Squall, Zell, Rinoa and Selphie. As for the second one, I guess there are also five characters
but I am sure... The ones I am sure about are Quistis, Irvine, Laguna, Kiros and Ward. As for the two gashapon sets
they both represent the same characters Squall, Rinoa, Zell and Seifer. In the first set there are two additional item,
a gunblade and Squall logo, while in the second there is an extra chocobo.
(have none)
